Register for NEA's Midwest Regional Leadership Conference
The 2010 NEA Midwest Regional Leadership Conference (MWRLC), hosted by Education Minnesota, will be held Friday, January 22 through Sunday, January 24, 2010, at the Hilton Minneapolis. This year's theme is "Today's NEA: Hope...Innovation...Transformation."
NDEA will pay the $135 registration fee, half the cost of a double room, mileage at 13.75 cents per mile, and a $50 allowance for meals and other incidental costs for up to two members per local.
NDEA President Dakota Draper said the Executive Committee's objective is to assist as many locals as possible to send members to this very worthwhile conference. The NDEA budget has provisions to fund grants for 12 local members. Draper encourages members to carpool to reduce overall costs, allowing more members to attend.
